Make a splash.

Marketing is about the stories you tell. Make them memorable.

My marketing story.

My marketing experience includes leading a digital marketing team that managed an advertising budget of $3.6 million/year across PPC, display advertising,‬ ‭TV, radio, and email sponsorships to increasing World Soccer Talk’s revenue by 900% by creating a business built on content, affiliate marketing and social media.

Storytelling.

Every business I worked at requires a different marketing skill set depending on the strategy. Whether it’s automating the creation of a daily email newsletter that was dynamically created based on the subscriber’s interests (with an open rate of 65%; see screenshot), or successfully reaching millions through a social media campaign across Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and X, I’ve helped numerous businesses meet or exceed their revenue goals.

That also includes creating apps, as well as using SMS, WhatsApp, TikTok, influencers, and AI to connect with audiences in more personal ways.

At the end of the day, marketing is all about storytelling.

Search engine optimization

Storytelling is of incredible importance, but Google remains the first destination for consumers when they start their journey.

As such, my experience mentoring a team on keyword research, including how to use SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs,‬ ‭ Gemini, and Yoast, as well as how to optimize for search engines and AI‬, has been pivotal.

A lot of my work has been focused on improvements made based on E-E-A-T has boosted my client’s authority on Google. Plus, my work on optimizing for ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI tools has been instrumental.

Without an advertising budget, I grew World Soccer Talk to rank in the top five most popular soccer websites in the U.S. as a direct result of quality content and search engine optimization, often ranking above ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and the teams and leagues themselves.
